2010 was the start of the European project Interreg IVa ‘2 Mers Seas Zeeën’ Cross-boarder cooperative programme 2007-2013. United by the motto ‘Investing in your future’ sustainable strategies for audience paticipation are developed.
Landscape, Cities, People (LCP) is a three-year, European-funded collaborative project of exhibitions, conferences, audience development and education activities.
Landscape, Cities, People project will build and broaden audiences for contemporary visual art by creating a sustainable model for Audience Development. It also works to improve the quality of arts education services and increase access to those services for young people, marginalised people and communities; and enables visual arts professionals to engage with the audiences, markets and work-based opportunities in the cross border region.

One of the outcomes of the project is Iris, a tri-lingual online contemporary arts magazine. Iris is currently focused on the Iris Contemporary Art Network, which consists of the six project partners but it will grow and develop over the lifetime of the project and beyond.
